"Christmas Kisses" by Verna Clay was a very lovable Christmas romantic read. This read was the fifth in this authors series 'Romance On The Ranch. This novel of about Mac and Cecelia both being very unhappy...one due to illness and the other of having a rich and privilege life in Manhattan but still in the end was unhappy. Cecelia decides to visit her brother and his family in Paxtonville, Colorado who knew while there her life would change forever. Cecelia decides to purchase a local coffee shop and relocate Who knew at this time a reclusive painter by the name of Conner MacKenzie would be a customer of the local coffee shop( even though it was delivered to his home) and this wonderful story will pick up from here. This is where I say you must pick up "Christmas Kisses" to see who this author will bring it all together to the readers. You will find this novel very inspiring with characters that are well portrayed, colorful, believable and likable in this fast pace read. This author has written such a well written beautiful story of two lonely people coming together.
"Christmas Kisses" will definitely touch your heart and I would recommend this novel to you as a excellent read along with the series: Dream Kisses, Honey Kisses, Baby Kisses and Candy Kisses.

"I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review." A very warm and heartwarming story. Two lonely people with big hearts finding love. And building a relationship with a son given up for adoption. Just wonderful. And all at Christmas time. I loved it. Highly recommend it.

The town adds another new citizen when Cecilia moves in...she is looking for her own happiness and finds her Mystery Man. I admire her strength and honesty as she deals with the emotional baggage of Mac, the Mystery Man. She gets her HEA, and we may even see a few more Ranch Kisses in the future. Yippee!!
I enjoyed reading another of Verna Clay' s stories from Paxtonville. It's fun to read about the residents of the town and she intertwined their lives and gives hint about future romances. The story of Cecilia and Mac is sometimes sad but sweet. I enjoy reading stories that are more about romance than sex. The Christmas party was the highlight, showing how opening your heart at Christmas is the best gift of all!
I loved this book. Mac an Cecelia's story is love inspiring. Mac has a lot of sadness he as lived with for a very long time. Hes not only sad but he is hurting in more ways then one. Cecelia has a life of wealth and privilege but she too is unhappy. Then she goes to visit family an everything changes. If you loved Dream Kisses, Honey Kisses, Baby Kisses' or Candy Kisses. You are going to love Christmas Kiss.
I have read the previous 4 books in this series and was not disappointed with book 5, Christmas Kisses. Verna Clay has managed to bring new characters into the series while successfully mixing old characters into this book. I have enjoyed reading her clever words mixed with romance, heartache and humor, and still look forward to the next book. Kudos for a job well done.
This was such a nice story! Cecilia and Mac are great characters as were all of the others in the story. This is book 5 of a series and it was a free download so I hesitated because of that but am so glad I didn't! It's a stand alone story which I SO appreciate! These days, it seems like many authors do series but with cliffhangers without you knowing that will happen. But, I'll warn you that it did make me want to go back and read the series so I do plan of doing that! The romance part is sweet and clean yet it has a good story line with both Cecilia and Mac being stuck in their past/circumstances and how they work that out. Super "feel good" story especially if you read this during the Christmas season.
Add me to the list of "loved it". It is a great, feel good story. Just what I needed for this day. If you read the review by Carole you can see what this story is all about. Great review and tells you the story. I loved the hero and my heart broke for him. The heroine was great as well. A woman determined to change her life and live the life she wanted. Good for her. You will like her as well.
There was a sadness to the story but it ends so well for everyone. I highly recommend it. Very entertaining and I know you will enjoy it as well. Great read.
